Who is Aviam?

Aviam is Latin for grandmother. 

We are a team of 12 women who believe grandmothers know how to create a world that makes sense. (After all, they made sense of ours.) We carry our matriarchal ancestors’ torch of wisdom, connection, empathy, play, and resourcefulness, with the goal of building a better future for all humans. 

A few things we learned from our own grandmothers:

1. Simple is beautiful – everything we design, build, and communicate feels easy, seamless and crystal clear
2. Stick to the recipe that works – magic is nice, but only if it creates results and is repeatable
3. Listen well, hug often – seek to understand people and connect with them on a human level
4. Go outside and play – switch up your perspective and live in the moment

We call our methodology The Secret Handshake.
